About SISU

Get the most out of yourself with ‘stoic perseverance’

The word SISU is Finnish and quite untranslatable. The closest comes ‘stoic perseverance, which makes it possible to get the most out of yourself and realize the impossible’. SISU is about letting your actions do the talking.

SISU Mindfulness was founded by Jorien Weerdenburg. She works as director of Organisational Transformation at IG&H and is a mindfulness and meditation teacher certified by Yoga Alliance International.
